Things to Do Locally
Make a day of it
If you’re travelling to Clophill for your Woolly Walk, why not make a little more of your visit?
We’re lucky to have some lovely independent businesses and family attractions nearby. We love supporting local, so we’ve put together a few places you might like to discover before or after your walk.
Chapel End Farm
A family-run farm in Bedfordshire offering fun, wholesome events and experiences throughout the year for families and groups. A lovely choice if you’d like to add even more animals and countryside fun to your day.
Bevistan Dairy
A local sheep dairy producing pasteurised sheep’s milk alongside handmade yoghurt, cheeses and sheep’s milk ice cream. A great little local find – and very fitting after spending time with our own woolly residents!
The Olde Watermill Shopping Village
Set within the grounds of a 1,000-year-old watermill in nearby Barton-le-Clay, The Olde Watermill is home to more than 20 independent retailers. Perfect for a browse, a bit of shopping and another stop while you’re in the area.
Discolicious – Gravenhurst
Just a short drive from Woolly Walks, Discolicious is a lovely local farm shop and café in the village of Gravenhurst. Pop in for delicious food, drinks and locally sourced treats — a perfect little stop before or after your Woolly Walk.
A great way to make a day of your visit while supporting another local countryside business.
