About Woolly Walks
A little bit of countryside happiness, one sheep at a time.
Woolly Walks began with a simple idea – to share the joy of spending time with our wonderful flock and give people the chance to experience something a little bit different.
Based in the Bedfordshire countryside in the village of Clophill, Woolly Walks offers private sheep walking experiences where you can slow down, get outdoors and spend some proper hands-on time with our sheep.
And when we say sheep walking, we really do mean sheep walking! You’ll meet your woolly walking companion, get to know their individual personality and head out together for a relaxed countryside walk. There’s plenty of time for photos, selfies and cuddles.
Woolly Walks is for everyone
We welcome adults, couples, families, friends, schools, community groups and organisations, whether you’re looking for an unusual day out, celebrating something special or simply fancy spending an hour in the company of some very friendly sheep.
Inclusivity is really important to us. We warmly welcome SEND visitors and their families and support networks, and we’re always happy to talk beforehand about individual needs and how we can make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Our walks are private to your booking, so you won’t be added to a group of people you don’t know. We think that makes the whole experience more relaxed and personal – it’s your time with the flock.

More than just a walk
Woolly Walks has grown into much more than we ever imagined.
Alongside our regular visitors, we’re proud to welcome schools and community groups and to work with organisations supporting people who may benefit from spending time outdoors and around animals.
We’re also incredibly proud to work alongside The Henry Allen Trust, offering complimentary Woolly Walks experiences to families affected by childhood cancer.
And before you leave, you can have a little look around The Shepherdess Pantry, our small Woolly Walks shop. Purchases from the Pantry help us make these complimentary experiences possible.
Meet Your Shepherdess – Ava
Ava is the shepherdess behind Woolly Walks and the friendly face you’ll meet when you come along for your experience. She knows each of our sheep and all their different personalities and loves sharing them with our visitors.
What started from a love of animals and the outdoors has grown into Woolly Walks, giving couples, families, friends and groups the chance to slow down, enjoy the countryside and spend time with our very special flock.
Ava will be there to introduce you to the sheep, help you get to know them and make sure you get the most from your private Woolly Walk.

Creating special moments together
We’re incredibly proud to work alongside The Henry Allen Trust, a charity supporting children, young people and their families affected by childhood cancer.
At Woolly Walks, we believe that sometimes the simplest moments can create the loveliest memories. Through our relationship with The Henry Allen Trust, we offer complimentary Woolly Walks experiences to families affected by childhood cancer, giving them the opportunity to spend some relaxed time together in the countryside, meet our flock and enjoy a little woolly fun along the way.
Our Shepherdess Pantry helps us make these experiences possible, so when you purchase a little piece of Woolly Walks to take home, you’re also helping us give something back.
